VENICE

Venice is a very beautiful, old city.

It is a very special city because it is on a lake.

In Venice there are many important buildings: San Marcos cathedral, Ducal Palace, Sighs Bridge, The Campanile…

There are a lot of restaurants, shops, hotels and squares. But there are not roads. The canals are between the houses and the streets. People go by boats and by gondolas.

Near Venice there is an island. Its name is Murano.

VILLABUENA

Villabuena is in Rioja Alabesa.It’s a village and is between Vitoria and Logroño ,in a very beautiful place. The most popular places to visit are the wineries and the churches. The wineries are under the ground.There are more than 30 (thirty) and some of then are quite famous. The churches are 400(four hundred) years old.

The village has got a hotel. The hotel has a restaurant too.Villabuena has a little swimming pool. In Villabuena there are 327 (thRee hundred and twenty-seven) people living (in 2008 (twenty eight). They work in the wineries.
